How many times must I say Jesus in a song to call it Gospel?

When someone heard my song they said "yeah it sounds nice i like it but.....WHY DON'T U SING GOSPEL".....What?? at first i didn't know what to think......Is this person trying to 'minster' to me or was this person being sincere...The question brought me to question "what is gospel? and why if  anything aren't i singing it. most gospel singers sing about their personal relationship with God, or the battle they within themselves and everyday life. And some actually sing Gospel, which is the good news that -You and i don't have to live as a slave to sin, because Jesus paid the price for our freedom [you and me]....so, how many times must i say Jesus in a song to call it Gospel? Or how many times must i say lord??? Is it not enough that i believe and accept Jesus as my lord and savior, that i must now have to PROVE IT...and to whom?? Certainly not God, because he's the author and finisher of our faith, therefore he KNOWS [you and I], we certainly aren't getting away with anything...so if we aren't proving our salvation to God and we aren't proving it to ourselves....then who's left to prove ourselves to??? ooooooooooooohhhhh you mean in order for me to still be considered "saved" i have to sing gospel if i want to sing at all...but if i were to do that, even when i don't want to...wouldn't that make me a poser and a pleaser of men??........i say this to you, music is from the heart, and if your heart is pure, then that's what kind of music will come out. I sing from the heart,....in my heart lies the experience and growth of life ..a life that is still being lived...and has only one ending and that is to see the glory of God, as do each and every one of you. There is a joy in writing your own lyrics, because it puts you in a place where your experience and your life becomes a written epistle read of men....we should not judge each other by the music we sing, because only a broken man sings brokenness, only the sick sings about sickness,.....but a broke man can become whole, and the sick can be healed...and how would anyone have known if they hadn't sang it....sometime in judgement we tend to block what God is doing in someones life by attempting to minister based on what {you see} rather that what God sees, only to make the process more difficult for the person going through.....beloved, be wise in heart, and forever praying, because regardless of what you see, TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!!
